God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - Live Stereo Guitar Looping

A guitar looping version (somewhat ambient style) of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.

I used the Patchulator 8000 patchbay by Boredbrain Music to route the looped signal through the Pitch Fork, Aurora, and DD500 and then stereo out (left into the HRD and right into one channel of the AC15), and the guitar signal (Gretsch Power Jet) through the El Cap, Wet, and out to the other channel of the AC15.

If you listen with headphones you can hear the different signals that got sent left (HRDeluxe) and right (AC15).

Dr. Blankenstein Illumiringer V1.5 Star Wars Edition Overdrive & Ring Modulator

The Illumiringer V1.5 is a 2-stage hybrid pedal with a gain pre stage (based off an Ibanez TS-808 and option for TS9 circuit) with controls for gain ("Jedi"), Tone, and Level which can be used on its own or drive the Illumiringer side, a light/motion-controlled ring modulatorwhich has controls for  "Sith" and level (the knob on the right fo the box). The Illumiringer side can also be used on its own without having the gain pre on.

DD500 vs DD20 - Basic Modes


A head-to-head comparison of the modes that the Boss DD-20 and DD-500 delay units have in common. I set the tone, feedback, and echo level to comparable levels for both units.

Please note that the functionality of the two pedals is very different, as the DD-500 allows for more extensive tweakability of each delay type and offers more patches for saving presets.

The video is a comparison of the tone of the basic delay modes out of the box (without much tweaking).
